I had to replace the water pump on my 8100 with the 7.6, it was easy. The 8.1 is different though, haven't done one. Dad's 8100 has the 8.1 and his got hot, it was the fan clutch. I made brackets to lock it up because the clutch was pretty expensive. Might someday get the clutch because there is a bit more fan noise, but not really that much.
