I know the 510 is not the best machine out there but it's what I got now.

This morning, and in years past.I had 1 point missing. 2 others with broken or completely wore our points. So I picked up 3 points.

The missing points, I guess , are the bolt holding them on, breaking. Today, I found 2 points still on, but 1 had a broken bolt(no nut on one side) and a second with no bolt but slip on point still there. Later in day, had a point missing.

I think the points I had been using were Nickols with wings.I think 45$ This morning I stopped at JD to pick up some points. Out of the Nickols, so I picked up a JD. 70$/ apiece.

Loosing $70 points before they wear out is "bugging" me. Maybe I should weld a chain on the back side of points and tie to frame.

I usually find 1/2 to most years later, and can still use them, but. Anybody else  have this problem? Thanks Brian
