humboldt iowa | I have a lely splendimow 240 which is a 7ft 10inch cutter. bought it new 5 years ago and run it over 90 acres a year atleast (30acresx3cuttings) the only thing i have done to it is put blades on it every year and check everything over. It has the segmented gear boxes so if one pod goes bad it doesnt affect the others. I did alot of research when i was looking to go from a cycle mower as it was in my operation a large investment ($6600 new at the time) so my suggestion to you is see if you can find a lely dealer and go talk to them. | |
