one of the micro switches is out of adjustment on the brake pedals is my guess. i had the same exact problem on a 4955 once. one is pressed all the time and whenever you press the opposite pedal it press/turns on the other switch ----whenver this happens it turns on the mfwd for 4-wheel braking.
