Subject: RE: 1910 commodity cart behind strip tiller

Driftless SW Wisconsin

One of the issues with the pull-behind version of the 1910 air cart in strip till is the wheel spacing, especially the front dolly wheels!

Up until recently it was physically impossible to get the castered front axle so it would go between 30" rows!  I've had customers buy a new 1910 and take it from the dealer to a weld shop to cut the front axle and get the casters to 120" centers!

With a caster you can not just space the wheels over, the center of the pivot must be centered between the rows.

I believe Deere now offers an optional front axle for strip till applications, make sure you order it!
