I guess its pretty intresting stuff, its a horizontial drilling and they are going in the Bakken formation. Sounds like this formation is only 10-100 feet thick. Takes some accurate stuff to hit it, but its pumping like crazy. Some wells are hitting 2,000 barrels a day, and @ 1/6th for the land owner, that comes to roughly $13,000. Per day. OUCH! | |
