I've had no plugging or build up in my D-cups. But now that I think about it, my diffusers are hard mounted on the SDX seed tube. So as disk openers bounces off rocks it imparts a good shake to the diffusers. Would shake off any accumulations of fert or treat.

The worst build up I've had was when I use the old flexicoil seed treatments system. Bad with barely and treat. Also with am-sulfate dry fert can build up some times.
