| We have a JD 9400 tractor with about 5500hrs on it. It seems to want to pop out of C range when you try to back up. It also does it if you are stopped and try to move forward it pops out. You have to put your gear selector lever back to neutral and then bring the other stick out of C then push it back in. It seems like it's getting worse. Never pops out once you are moving. Someone suggested maybe it's the cab settling and the Range cable needs adjustment. It is the transmission with A B C D on one stick and R1 R2 and 1 2 3 4 on the other with the high low lever beside the throttle. | |
