E.Central MN | Maybe the guy figured a year from now the tractor will be worth more than the money would be. If we experience(or when we experience) high inflation levels in the next few years it could turn out to be a good buy. But if the market keeps going lower there will be lots of better buys out there. If it was bought by a tractor collector there is no way most of us could ever rationalize the prices they will pay. Obviously the bidder didn't have to ask his banker what the tractor's loan value was. | |
