Kinze units work great for me. Very consistent soybean population. Thought about buying the JD meters but bought a good set of used Kinze's for $50/unit at a consignment auction. Haven't had a problem with different seed sizes so I don't know if JD works better or not. By not overplanting, you won't have to save too many bags of seed to pay for either one of the units.
