Boy is this a good subject. Hand tools today - how cheap can they make 'em? If you find a good one let me know.

The quality of brooms in most stores today is poor to unusable. It's all about price competition now, not quality. For push brooms, Harper seems to be the best but they often have to be mail-ordered from here as the major stores won't carry anything that good.

Does anyone make a good field hoe anymore? Not the ones in the stores today that have a spot welded blade that burns up when trying to sharpen, but a good forged steel (one piece head) hoe?
