NW IA | Was wanting to put Martin 13" spading wheels on my JD 7200 flex fold that has ME2 row units. The original tailpieces, (closing wheel arm) seem a little lite for the job, and at one time, someone welded a greaseable collar over most of the pivot holes on the original tailpieces - due to wear I'm assuming. Would really like a cast tailpiece like a 1770 with XP unit having the bolt on hub, but Deere can't tell me if they'd fit. When I asked them about the updated Deere adjustable closing-wheel-arm-kit # AA44266, the catalog didn't show it to fit either. It's only listed for Maxemerge row units like a 7000 has.
I'm hoping someone else has tried the XP tailpieces on a ME2 shank. Any suggestions? | |
