Your local radiator repair shop will have plastic welding tools to repair plastic radiator tanks. Talk to them,they can likely weld that axle in a few seconds. Also a lot of farm stores will have plastic welding kits for repairing sprayer tanks etc. I bought mine years ago and have repaired many plastic items through the years.
