Subject: Re: Cyclo 955 Seed Hopper height

The 955-950 cyclo modules have a fully self contained subframe that connects the module side sheets and firewall into a unit that is therefore module and can be mounted and removed easily. The older 800-900 seed modules were integrally supported by weldments that were welded to the planter frame or tool bar. The older units sat quite low and made service of the seed tubes and general access to the fan and motor very unpleasant. The newer seed modules sit higher making for much improved access and ease of seed tube replacement and access to drive chains and transmission. The newer modules can be removed and used for custom configurations where the older modules are pretty much limited to the bars they are mounted on. I don't think it would be very feasable to elevate an older module without extreme difficulty. Good luck.
