Subject: tractor wts. on cart tractor

Scottville, 49454 Northwest Michigan
We're trying to pull a large tandem axle silage wagon through some mud. No fun! We have a Case-IH 9250 tractor on one of the wagons and I'm wondering if the tractor would have a better time dragging the wagon around if we took the front and rear weights off of the tractor. I think there's a total of about 5000 pounds or so of saddle weights on the tractor that I could take off.

Just wondering what you all's thought process would be on this question.

thanks, gordon
