I bought one of these off of ebay a while ago for the bedroom. It's worlds more powerful than a mag lite, and you can find rechargeable 3 volt lithium batteries on ebay. So, with the combination, although pricey, you have more light than you'll ever get out of a mag lite (by a lot), no changing bulbs and no buying batteries.

Might sound like a lot to spend $90 for the flashlight, batteries and charger, but you'll never feel like you need a brighter pocket flashlight.

The class of 3 watt LEDs out there just blows away all of the regular LED flashlights, is as bright as the expensive xenon bulb lights, and no bulb changing.
