Northern Indiana | I did the same thing to mine several years ago. Must be a white one if it has a park on the shift lever. The earlier (yellow) ones were a band brake.
Drain the oil out of the rear end, pull the PTO out of it and you can crawl in there and see the inner workings of the parking pawl and linkage. it is as simple as that. My guess is it was put in park while it was rolling a little and broke off the parking pawl.
If that is the problem CNH should be able to get one. I believe it is $150.00. They can not be welded as it will be saturated with oil. | |
