Subject: RE: STRIP-TILL (BARS)

mij i bought a soil warrior from mark bauer in northfield mn. i use to run an agsystems bar with a mole knife but could not get thru corn stalks. his unit is a heavy duty unit. check it out at soil warrior.com. i have used it this fall on beans and corn and have yet to plug it, can go crossways or at an angle in cornstalks and it will not plug. i am running a 28 in. blade on it and can go down 10-12 in. if i want, it does take some ponies. i am pulling a 12 row with a mt835b which is about 350 hp. i plan to take the single blade off this spring and then put the two rippled blades on this spring and go over the same strip with urea before i plant. i want to try and take some pictures of the fields when i get done in the next few days and post them here if i can figure that out.
