We've conducted about 8 or 9 No-Till Seeding Schools over the years, where we always have 8 to 12 different row unit configurations on the planter for comparison, including corn that was seeded several weeks prior to the event w/ the same configurations. There isn't one spoked or tined closing wheel design that always wins, but there are definitely some trends. And the worst is almost always the OEM smooth closing wheels.
