Yorktown, TX | Pot blasters are the best for that type of use. Siphon blasters are mainly used to remove rust, but leave any paint that is still bonded. I agree that you should use some type of paint remover on the sheet metal and then sand it. We just use sand for all our blasting. We either go get sand and sift it from the river bottom or buy play sand and sift it using screen door screen. This works good and is very inexpensive. Good luck with project. | |
