Kindersley Sk. | I think the first pic is of a Hybrid canola seed production field. The tents are leafcutter bee huts used for pollination and there looks to be two different types of canola plants in the rows (the main field is flowering and the narrow rows are not)
And most of the hybrid seed production takes place in the southern Alberta irrigation districts (where willvr's from)for some reason. Anyone know why? | |
