Jeff, I don't know if this really answers your question but I bought a 12 row planter down near Indianapolis last summer, the dealer was going to charge me $4/mile for delievery, my local dealer picked it up as a backhaul and charged me $3/mile. This was using a semi and drop deck trailer.
