We have an old riverbed that's dried up in the summer, but flows occasionally part of the year.  Trying to think of the simplest way to cross with an irrigation line besides laying pipe across the bottom that has to be removed in the event of the river rising, and wondering if a section of pivot would do the job.  The riverbed is about 180 ft. across.  Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.  TIA
