Somerville, Indiana | the 7010 Bobby and John showed me at the Clay County Fair had shakers instead of augers aka Massey 510 and AC Model 60...Are the 2577 and 88 minus the auger bed too?
hate to mention it as it was my fault, but wet conditions caused the shakers to build up to where there were no indentions to move the crop to the chaffer...also can't argue with what works...seems the shaker would be a lot less machinery than the augers, mainly an extention of the cleaning sieve if like the 510s were.
after buying a 1688 becaused they were cheaper than 66s at the time because of BTO rollovers, I really can see the end of the 66 series...too much more capacity with the 88 and not that much more involved. | |
