Subject: RE: Blu-Jet and No-till?

NW Washington
What was the problem? I don't understand the situation or "chisel effect". What is the drill row spacing?
Many folks seed wheat in the Pacific NW using a two pass system of first shanking in NH3 and all the P and S and then following with a no-till drill. Most of these NH3 machines have the shanks on 12 centers, but a lot of the drills are on 10 inch rows and this works very well. Getting the NH3 machine through the old stubble is the biggest headache.
