Most likely the actuator for the front differential is broken, not allowing the shift collar ot fully engage. It is an electrical unit on the rt. side of the engine where the rt axle shaft meets the differential tube after it comes through the oil pan.
Checkit out well and figure out where the problem is. Pulling those diff's are a Bitch.
