A liner doesn't cure all of the problems. The guy that I drive for had one go over last month, hauling lime, and it had a liner. We had just dumped one truck prior without a liner and no problems.
Also a frame type trailer, will usually take the truck over, while a frameless has a better chance of leaving the truck upright.
