| If your friend spends much money on the PF 3000 and the setup for the combine he would be better off getting an Ag Leader Edge because a lot of the hookups between the combine units and the yield monitor would have to be changed. The signals are run in an entirely different format. On the other hand the PF 3000 will do an excellant job of yield monitoring if he plans to keep it for a while.
The insight makes the PF3000 look pretty old fashioned, the Edge will do some of but not all of what the insight will do. I have a PF3000, but no pieces for a combine. I am probably going to put it in my utility vehicle to mark tile lines etc.
Study the whole situation before making a decision.
