AllPak battery in Wichita KS has rebuilt some for me. The ones that you buy new might be sitting on the shelf for 3years who knows. That being said Milwakee has the Lith-ion batt. for their 18v stuff that are awesome, Warrenrty doesn't start til you charge them. Another route if your milwakee batteries happen to be the 18v power-plus ( black and silver label) or some 14v, they have a recall on them. I got one new one from them (I knew I shoulda keep those old junkers) Check milwakee website for info.
