E.Central MN | There have been ads in various farm newspapers by people that pick up oil for free. Local dealer got tired of paying the fee for his degreasing unit, bought his own and dumped the used fluid in with his waste oil furnace. They asked why he wasn't calling them to recycle the fluid and then turned him in. You're right that it should be worth something, but the recyclers know we have to dispose of it anyway. I gave my waste oil to a friend that put in a new waste oil furnace to heat his shop. | |
