I use a pair of stacker 1200ASM planters for cotton and have been pleased with them. Parts are pricier than JD, the AFS monitor took some getting used to, as did the singulators, but the EarlyRiser units have always been more consistent with depth control than any other planter for me. I use the 3 cell hildrop discs and Temik hoppers. There heavy, and the 8xxx JD and MX CIH handle them a bit better than the Soundgard JD or square Magnum. Tom
