Subject: RE: Tire changers

Dodge Co, Wi
a handful of tire spoons, and a pig with an external fan nozzle on a ball valve. helped change many a semi tire this way, once you catch the hang of getting one side of the wheel making complete contact with the tire bead and aiming the pig's nozzle just right at the other bead while filling (the stemless tire) with air it goes pretty slick and on the cheap too. iirc the pig had a 2.5" pipe coming off at a ball valve and then crimped to a ~3/8"x3" fan style end. given it doesn't help when coming to balance of wheels/tires for light trucks/cars but that's another machine anyways.
