Subject: Liquid fert. capture sys. totally tubes?

My corn planter has the raven/ capture system on it. I want to use it to put on about 5 GPA of 10-34-0 on 8 rows The capture system sprays over the top of the seed before furrow close. I don't think I want to put on Liquid fert that way.(seed safety).

I'm thinking I will install a in furrow system like totally tubes. Is this the best choice?

Any one using the capture system to put liquid starter on?

I think I will leave the capture nozzles on,in-case I want to treat refuge corn. I don't see any reason to take them off! I would have to switch the feed line from the totally tube or what ever back to the nozzle.
Also part of the capture system consists of a seed/furrow firmer similar to Keaton. will this inter fear with the fert application?

tia
