Subject: RE: Planting behind 9400T

Southwest Minnesota

Depends alot on soil types and moisture levels.  Planted behind a Cat with very few problems.  Planted behind a Quadtrac, will not do that again, but I know people who do and seem to get along fine.

In softer soils it becomes more of a problem.  See many planters with 4wds or mfwds that don't fit down the row so it is possible.

Disc openers in the track wear out faster.
