We have a 4440 2WD with a 158 loader and IMO it's a good loader tractor. We have the QR transmission in ours. I think the 55 series PS was smoother shifting than the 40 series, but we used to have this loader on a 4630 PS and got along good with it. MFWD would definitely be a plus feeding cattle around here.
