SW Ohio | Steering setup is the biggest difference between the axle versions. And yes, there is only one ring/pinion ratio and you must adhere to tire sizes listed in operators manual to keep things from tearing each other apart. Added MFWD to my 7710 some years ago, used a later axle with only one steering cylinder that is cast into the axle housing. We were able to just cap off 2 steering hoses and tie them off to the frame and run only 2 lines to the steering cylinder. Sorry I'm not more help finding the parts. It has to be cheaper to put new ring and pinion in your housing than a whole boneyard axle, unless your housing is damaged as well. | |
