| As far as LCD flat panels are concerned Sony has a quality product. However, if the room that you are watching the TV is not exceeding sunlit, and you are not wall mounting your TV, a HD DLP TV will probably give you a better picture for your money. DLP's work best in a moderately dark room, like a basement. Another thing to consider, since your are getting a HD TV, to actually get a HD picture your best bet is a HD receiver for your dish or cable package. I think Dish Network has the most HD channels available. Direct TV has more sprots channels and programs in their lineup. So if you are switching your provider, research which one has the programming, packages, and commitment that work for you. Cable has a lot of channels to offer, a lot of them nobody watches. | |
