Motor fried on our 40 year old taiwanese drill press yesterday. 1/2 hp motor, shaft measures .550" and just has a flat spot for a set screw, no keyway. Where can I find a motor with that size shaft in the states? Or can anyone recommend a good bench top drill press that is priced accordingly with todays grain prices?
Probably easier to find a standard bore stepped pulley and matching motor.
So is the bore actually .550" or 14 mm? |
