Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND | The complaint of all the horse related stuff on RFD-TV came up in a thread on the YT site. One guy said he called RFD-TV and got to talk to the guy who Runs RFD-TV and complained about so much horse content programming.. The guy said that RFD-TV could not exist without the income from the yuppy horse care/training shows. They MUST cater to the yuppy horse owner market to generate enough money to keep the show on the air. I believe that,as I have seen at least two other satellite "farm" channels in the last 20 years,start,then run out of operating money and be gone within 6 months to a year.
The advice the RFD-TV guy gave was that if you value any part of the RFD programing,spend the $30 to subscribe to their little magazine/program guide. This does two things,It puts $30 in their pocket to buy good/better programming and gives you a good guide so you can find the programs you want well in advance and set up your VCR to record or"time shift" the part of the RFD-TV programing you do want to watch. |
