| Since you have to keep the rolling radius the same, you wouldn't gain much as far as turning radius by switching tires. 16.9 fronts will work fine in 30" rows. I have 16.9s on my planting and spraying tractor -- they're a little wide when you're trying to spray on steep hillsides, but it's not much of a problem with the FWA on.
I have a 7250 with that same tire combination. I have used it to plant before, and it worked just fine.
The other consideration with 46 rears is that the drawbar will be high and the 3pt doesn't go as low as other tractors. It seems to me that that series of Magnum was designed for a 42" tire. However, neither is a major problem.
