Tony I think you're getting a little overboard here.......we run two class 6 Deere machines in our fields ALL the time. One is a walker and one is an STS. Day after day, in beans and corn the STS will just plain outperform the walker. In high yeilding beans where you can run as fast as the combine will take them there is no doubt in my mind which one will do more. Also, our STS will shell twice as much corn in a day as a 9610 would with the same head. If you think that a walker machine will compare with a rotor in anything other than wheat, dream on brother.........
