I do not know fuel use, but since you are making a drastic size change in combines, you are probably best looking at gallons per acre. You should be able to get 3,000 bushels per hour of corn, on average, from that machine with an 8 row head, more with a 12. Soybeans with a 35 ft head should do 20 ac per hour like SEK relates, bushels per hour would likely not be limiting. Have seen the machine handle 1,500 bushels per hour flow levels.

So it may take a lot more fuel, but a machine with that price tag better get a lot done too!
