Heil Harvesting, Ulysses KS/Limon CO | That header is going to have a 973 adapter in it. To switch it from a 2388 style hookup to a FS hookup you will need:
1. To remove the 2388 window and latch plates from inside the feeder hole.
2. Install a lower seal strip on the bottom of the window on the adapter.
3. Istall latch shims in the square holes in the lower portion of the adapter to make your hooks install.
4. Change your PTO shaft yoke from 1 1./8" hex to 540.
5. Either make a shaft adapter from 540F to 1 1/8" hex for your pump or buy a gear box for your pump from MacDon.
6. Install single point hydraulic connection.
If you want your lights to work you will have to buy the plug to do so and wire it up. Also, if you have hydraulic top link and fore and aft you will will either need to use a switch in the cab like your 2388 did or buy and wire in the electric plug that will run the lights.
