Subject: RE: canola silage

nsw australia
Jack the canola looks better than it is.A yield of .5t/ha would be the best we could expect due to a dry fi nish and frost most of the pods have aborted the seed.We would need to get 1 t/ha to be equal to silage. How are things goingin the west? IaAngus the job was done by contractors so i am not quite shaw what speed they traveling but i would think about 8 to10 kms/per hour.they covered 800 acers in six days. The crop was cut by a case windrower.
