I'm thinking I would hold off on Office 2003. It has a few nice handholding improvements, but its not a drastic change from what you have now. The new Office 2007 that is coming is a major, major upgrade with some nice features, but also a completely new user interface. I like what I'm seeing of it so far (I have a beta test copy of it). If you are going to spend money, you might as well wait until that comes out.
