Subject: How accurate of GPS for soil sampling?

NC Iowa
I was curious to hear others thoughts or opinions on how accurate a GPS receiver needs to be for taking geo-referenced soil samples. This would include tasks such as driving the field boundary for a boundary layer, as well as for getting accurate acres, and then either grid sampling or zone/soil type sampling.

Some say a medium range receiver, some say simply a compact flash type is sufficient. What do any of you think?

Thanks-
Bryan
