Subject: RE: "Ring Hitch"?

Western Iowa
I built a fertilizer spreader several years back. I have also made some other projects.

I would suggest making it a bolt on. Several years of tearing around with my spreader, the hitch is showing a fair amount of wear. Lots easier to bolt on a new one than to get the torch and welder out again.

The DMI field cultivators is an easy pattern to copy. Want to be a little cooler, copy the DMI 5300 NH3 tool bars. Just one pin, and you can flip it for a clevis or a hammer strap.

If you are set on welding one on, google pintle hitch stuff for construction equipment. Should find plenty.
