| What year is your 9790? I know a year or so ago they started putting piano wires in the chaffer and sieve new from the factory. The idea is to prevent the fins from laying down in good yielding crops. From what I've heard it has elimated the problem. The piano wires stiffen the fins and makes adjusting the chaffer and sieve requiring some muscle. You might check with your dealer or contact AGCO service for further information.
