I learned that way back in the day on our old 6 row Kinze PT planter. There were more than a few Yetter parts on that machine, and I never knew why that was. I want to say even the row unit mounting plates on the toolbar itself had "Yetter" decals on them, but I never thought to ask why. Moot now, as it was traded away years ago.
By the way, I don't know what it is that causes this, but our Yetter notill coulters would wear out on the castlenut threads. When they wore far enough, the castlenut would slip and you could no longer keep the bearing tight. I never tried it, but if you have some in marginal condition, you might be able to stretch the life a few years just by replacing the castlenut sooner.
