| The 972's and 973's will cut super low to the ground, when the first 972's were buillt they had a different guard angle than the present ones and this made them able to cut about 2 inches below the ground. Tough on combine tho, so I'd recommend the skid shoes on the ends to prevent the ends from digging when turning or on hills.
